Grupo Alatur understands the importance of social responsibility

Grupo Alatur maintains a corporate profile that is based on ethical values and principles. We believe that growth also means assuming responsibility for attitudes that promote improvements in our social environment.

Consequently, we participate in several activities that collaborate with our social environment, such as:

Abrinq - Since 2004
In order to become a Child-Friendly Company, Alatur presented all completed actions, leading to the annual renewal of our membership.

Christmas with Solidarity
Collaborators choose an institution to support and conduct altruistic and solidarity actions. 

Adopt a child
On a specific date, every child in a chosen institution (around 80) is assigned a sponsor that will offer the child a gift, such as an item of clothing, a pair of shoes or a toy. 

AVAPE (Association for the Valorization and Promotion of People with Disabilities)
Alatur financially supports and promotes this cause.

ABEM (Brazilian Association of Multiple Sclerosis)
We support the doctors and physical therapists of the institution, and annually subsidize a number of national trips to enable their participation in fairs and congresses for sector development.

Childhood
Childhood Brasil is the Brazilian chapter of the World Childhood Foundation (Childhood), which was founded by Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden 1999 to defend the rights of the child and promote better living conditions for children living in vulnerable situations around the world. Childhood Brasil works for the protection of children from abuse and sexual exploitation. Based on this aim, the organization develops its own regional and national programs and supports projects in several locations.
We promote the Institution by means of publicity in AlaNews and Alatur Magazine and cash donations.

Ronald MC Donald Institute
The Ronald McDonald Institute identifies priorities in the fight against child and youth cancer and develops programs that provide early diagnosis, adequate referrals and quality treatment for children and adolescents with cancer in Brazil.
For the development of its programs - Ronald McDonald Homes, Early Diagnosis and Integral Care - the Institute has the support of the scientific community and social volunteers, both represented in their Councils. For the implementation of national programs, the Institute works with a network of partner institutions that fight for the same cause in several regions of Brazil.

The Institute directs all obtained resources to presented projects and conducts effective monitoring with technical, financial and audit reports to assure transparency and credibility to investors and other segments of society.

Banda Luss
This band is formed by Alatur employees that make all the difference as they sing and delight some of the Voluntary Actions of the Group.

Ribeirão Pires Social Project
Professional training for children of low-income families in the region.

We also support the practice of sports and sponsor several athletes that represent us internationally:

- Juliana Lopes Sanches - Taekwondo;
- Adriana Kostiw - Sailing;
- Jackson Jacobi - Paraglide;
- Sabrina Meira Majella - Triathlon.
